TCHATT

Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine

Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT), operated by the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium, provides telemedicine or telehealth programs to school districts to help identify and assess the behavioral health needs of students and provide access to mental health services. TCHATT is funded by the Texas Legislature and there is no cost to schools who participate or families who access services.

Who Can Access TCHATT?

The program was deployed first in those regions where an existing infrastructure can be expanded or a new infrastructure can be set up quickly. Since the initial start up, the Texas Legislature has provided funding so every Texas school has an opportunity to utilize TCHATT. Visit the TCHATT website to find a map of the schools and school districts that are enrolled or soon-to-be enrolled.

How Can My School Join TCHATT?

If you’re interested in learning more or joining TCHATT, email tcmhcc@utsystem.edu to learn about availability in your region.
